At The Eastlake Group, we have created a process that accommodates all guests, ensuring that every attendee has a delicious meal they can enjoy confidently. The Eastlake Specialised Dietary Management Process (ESDMP) consistently delivers successful functions where allergies, intolerances and restrictions are catered for and managed with respect and care.

The Chef’s and team’s knowledge on food restrictions provides attendees with more than confidence and a safe meal, they have excitement and inclusion. At Eastlake, any dietaries that need additional alternatives not already present in our menu, the Chefs will curate a specially designed meal that looks and tastes as beautiful as the rest of the items served during the function. This is an important service provided by Eastlake to ensure that all guests feel welcome, included and thought of.

Eastlake Specialised Dietary Management Process (ESDMP)

When booking functions with Eastlake, a dedicated Events Coordinator will be with you every step of the way, including providing an inclusive catering experience for all.

What To Expect

  1. Events Coordinator requests the following information: Guest Names, Dietary Requirements, and Table Number (sit-down service)

  2. All dietaries are recorded into a Dietary Plan

  3. Events Coordinator, Executive Chef, Head Chef and Venue Manager meet to discuss the details of your event and ensure all involved understand the dietaries provided

  4. Head Chef creates a Meal Plan in the Dietary Plan

    The Eastlake Function Menu is designed to accommodate the most common type of restrictions including vegetarian, gluten free, halal and nut free. For other restrictions, the Head Chef will curate a new meal

  5. The Dietary Plan is printed for all staff in the event to access throughout the function

  6. Sticker labels for all alternative meals clearly identify guests and their meals. This enables the seamless and safe service of dietary meals with minimal disruption

  7. Alternative meals for dietaries are isolated and served by a knowledgeable team
