Off the back of last year’s smash-hit Best Burger Competition, ClubsACT is turning up the heat with something even bigger — ClubsACT Cook for a Cause!

This year, it’s all about the clubs' signature dishes.

With Eastlake's Best Burger win in 2024, the Chefs have created another whopper of a burger.

Let us introduce you to the

𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫

BBQ brisket served on a milk bun with maple bacon, butter crunch, tomato, beetroot, jalapeno pickle slaw, battered onion rings, red cheddar and chipotle aioli. Served with chips.

Cook For A Cause is more than a friendly competition between Clubs in the ACT, its about giving back to the community and showing support for a foundation that helps families, patients and researchers.

With every burger sold, Eastlake is donating $2 to Canberra Hospital Foundation.

About Canberra Hospital Foundation

The Canberra Hospital Foundation is a registered charity raising funds for specialised equipment and important research, refurbishments to help make away from bed spaces less clinical, provision of therapeutic programs, and comfort items for our patients and their loved ones.

As a healthcare charity, they recognise the positive impact expressions of gratitude can have during the care experience. They are honoured to partner with donors and supporters in expressing their gratitude, whether that be through honouring a loved one or healthcare worker, sharing a story, or making a philanthropic gift.

The small team works to ensure donations and in kind support will positively impact patients and families in the wider Canberra region who need treatment at Canberra Health Services public hospitals, health care centres or walk in centres.
